NFI’s Multisystemic Therapy (MST), an evidenced-based program provides community-based, family-driven treatment for youth with behavioral health issues, including high risk and disruptive behaviors, truancy, and/or antisocial or delinquency concerns.
MST addresses behavioral challenges that may lead to youth being placed out of home, including school absence/school behaviors, severe disrespect and disobedience, verbal and physical aggression, drug and alcohol use, curfew violations and running away. Clinicians work intensively with parents and caregivers to develop the skills, resources, and support needed to effectively manage their child’s behaviors. MST is an evidence-based program and has proven and sustained results with reducing crime, empowering families, and strengthening communities. It blends clinical treatments, cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior management training, and community psychology to effectively reach this challenging population.
