Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT®) is an evidence-based, culturally responsive family treatment model designed to reduce youth behavioral problems while strengthening the family unit.
BSFT® is designed for families with youth ages 6–18 who are experiencing behavioral and/or mental health challenges and may be at risk for out-of-home placement, as well as for those preparing for reunification following an out-of-home placement. As an evidence-based program, NFI BSFT® clinicians receive supervision from an NFI program administrator, along with ongoing coaching from a certified coach through the Family Therapy Training Institute of Miami.
