The Lofts is a pre-independent living program, serving Transition Age Youth in a community-based setting. Young adults served are provided with support and coaching from the program director and life skills coaches directed toward strengthening skills to increase independence.
The Lofts is a 5-bed home where each young adult has their own bedroom and access to shared common areas, including a kitchen and living room. We provide transition age youth (TAY) who a safe and therapeutic environment. Staff provide - individualized interventions that help guide individuals towards independence. Our life coaches help them navigate interpersonal relationships, treatment team meetings, and services with more autonomy, involving them in decision making, self-advocacy, and pro-social peer groups. We assist individuals in accessing community health and behavioral health care, and help them explore a wide range of educational and vocational services all in the goal of transitioning TAY to an unsupervised supported apartment while building healthy relationships with their community.
