Lakeside Detention program serves adolescent males aged 12-18 who are pending court disposition.
The staff at Lakeside really care. I like to call back and talk to them and let them know how I am doing. They still help me by telling me to be good and do the right thing. I had to be there over Thanksgiving and Christmas and Anna made the best meals! - AJ
Lakeside Detention provides detained youth with a comprehensive range of services utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and evidenced based programing, including educational, vocational, counseling, routine medical, psychiatric, and recreational services. Our goal is to help youth manage the stress they experience while awaiting their future court dates, while teaching and fostering the skills needed to form longstanding and healthy connections in their communities.
Lakeside Detention is committed to helping youth in their care make positive changes in their lives. We work to build connections with youth and families and allow them a safe space to identify strengths, develop coping strategies, and reintegrate back into their communities and families.
