NFI’s Community Service Network (CSN) works with adjudicated youth, involved with the Department of Youth Services (DYS), who have completed their treatment phase of sentencing and are ready to transition home and into their communities.

We collaborate and coordinate closely with DYS to support each youth, and their family, to reach their fullest potential while ensuring accountability, safety, and supervision. Our CSN team does “whatever it takes” to ensure youth and families receive the right support and services, at the right time, to meet their individual, unique, and evolving needs. We partner with families to support youth to live crime-free lives and maximize their potential. We do this directly and through access to a comprehensive range of health and human services such as housing, food and other basic needs, secondary and higher education, vocational, and work programs, and behavioral health treatment. We provide HiSET tutoring and career readiness training. We support youth to continue their education through community and 4-year colleges and vocational training programs. We ensure youth are equipped with the skills necessary to successfully transition into adulthood. Services, including short-term therapy and family peer support, can be provided in the comfort of the family’s home or community.
