Middleton, MA – NFI Massachusetts is proud to announce that it has been awarded a multi-year contract with the Essex County Sheriff's Department to provide a suite of reentry and case management services to justice-involved individuals.
These services offer a comprehensive range of psychoeducational programming and support designed to assist individuals throughout the full continuum of care within the Essex County Sheriff's Department (ECSD). NFI staff will work with individuals in multiple ECSD settings, including the Middleton House of Correction, the Essex County Pre-Release & Reentry Center, the Salisbury Women in Transition Program, and the Lynn and Lawrence Supporting Transitions & Reentry Programs.
NFI will provide evidence-informed psychoeducational groups covering topics such as substance use, criminal thinking patterns, life skills, anger management and self-regulation, and parenting skills. These groups are designed to address the top criminogenic needs and support successful reentry into the community. Case management services will help ensure that individuals return to their communities with the support, services, vocational training, and employment opportunities needed to reduce recidivism.
