Division Director - Outpatient and Substance Use Services
Kim Boisselle, LICSW, serves as the Division Director for the NFI Haverhill Clinic where she oversees NFI’s Outpatient Services, Medication Services with MAT, Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP), Massachusetts Impaired Driver Programs (MID), and the Haverhill Overdose Prevention and Education programs (HOPE). During her 30+ years of service in the division, Kim has used her clinical and administrative expertise to expand community collaboration and Clinical services. These include launching SOAP, partnering with Haverhill Police and Probation, and collaborating with the Mayor of Haverhill to develop the HOPE Taskforce to support overdose follow up and other substance use services for Haverhill area residents.
Kim has prioritized clinical best practices for mental health and substance use with a focus on Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a harm reduction philosophy. With the ever-changing workforce it has always remained a priority for Kim to create a warm and welcoming environment where creative and talented people want to work as part of a team and where individuals are proud to seek treatment.
When not at work, Kim is usually reading, watching movies, quilting, spending time with family or her Great Pyrenees ‘Maggie.’ ‘Maggie’ can also be found visiting the clinic on Fridays for some pet therapy for staff and individuals.
