Director of Operations
Holly’s career in human services began over 20 years ago when she took a job working as a direct care counselor, and then supervisor, at an acute adolescent residential treatment facility after graduating college. Holly was inspired through working with youth in this setting to further her clinical training and education, which prompted her enrollment in a Marital and Family Therapy graduate program at the University of San Diego. Holly completed an internship at Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego’s outpatient psychiatry department and after graduating, worked as a community-based therapist for children and adolescents for a little over a year before moving back to the east coast and finding her home at NFI.
Holly first started with NFI in 2010 as a clinician at an adolescent residential treatment program. In 2014, she transitioned into the community-based division serving as the clinical director for a trauma-informed wraparound family therapy service. Holly helped launch this new program, becoming certified as a High-Fidelity Wraparound coach, and eventually transitioned into the role of program director. In December 2021, Holly was promoted to Division Director of Home and Community Based Services and served in that role until a promotion in August 2025 into her current role as Director of Operations.
Holly is an agency trainer in Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency and has played a key role in the agency’s trauma-informed care initiatives. Holly chairs NFI’s Permanency committee, leading the agency’s commitment to prioritizing lifelong, enduring family connections for all individuals we serve.
In June 2025, Holly earned a certificate in Nonprofit Human Service Management from Suffolk University Moakley Center for Public Management and the Providers’ Council. Holly is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
