Division Director - Adult Services
Sandy Destra is the Division Director of Adult Services at NFI Massachusetts, bringing over a decade of leadership experience in human services. Throughout her career, she has served a wide range of populations, including adults with acquired brain injuries, developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and complex medical needs.
Sandy has held a variety of roles, including direct care staff, supervisor, Program Director, and Division Director of Adult Services, giving her a comprehensive understanding of person-centered care and organizational leadership. She is passionate about developing high-performing teams, advancing quality care, and creating opportunities for professional growth through mentorship, leadership development, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
Her commitment to compassionate leadership and continuous improvement has helped strengthen services and empower both staff and the individuals they support.
