Division Director - Adolescent Residential Services

Cindy Powers has over 25 years of experience working with children and adolescents involved with both the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Juvenile Justice. She began her career as a residential counselor at RFK Children’s Action Corps working with young woman committed to DYS. Cindy currently serves as the Division Director of Adolescent Residential Services with NFI Massachusetts, where she oversees the adolescent residential programs consisting of Emergency Residences, Intensive Group Homes, Supported Independent Living, Specialty Group Homes, and a Department of Youth Services Detention Facility.

Cindy has served on several Children’s League of Massachusetts committees focusing on transitional age youth and is passionate about all youth having stable housing, reaching educational and vocational goals, and achieving permanency.
