The Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP) provides treatment to adults with addiction or co-occurring mental health disorders while affording them the opportunity to maintain participation in the community, be a part of family life, and continue to work or attend school.
Length of Treatment
The program operates 5 days per week, adult programming takes place during the day. The number of days and length of treatment are determined according to individual needs. The average length of treatment is 6-8 weeks. Most individuals attend all 5 days during the week.

Program components include:
- Intake and assessment
- Recovery planning
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Case management
- Toxicology screens as needed
- Family treatment as needed.
Following the completion of the intensive day program, aftercare planning and groups are available.
Eligibility for the SOAP Program
Individuals appropriate for this program are able to participate in a group setting yet may have been unable to maintain recovery with traditional weekly office based treatment. Exclusion criteria includes medically or psychiatrically unstable persons. SOAP staff will assist in making appropriate treatment referrals for these consumers.
