Division Director - Intensive Residential Services
"Be the change you wish to see in the world…” This guiding principle has shaped Christine’s 30-year career in social work. With a deep passion for adolescents and nonprofit agencies, Christine began her journey as a Residential Counselor in a program for DCF/DMH-involved youth. Christine is a LICSW and earned a Master's in Social Work from Boston University. She discovered her niche in senior leadership roles, focusing on compliance, quality improvement, and risk management across various settings. After over seven years in management and oversight of specialized Adolescent units at DCF, Christine has come full circle to her current role at NFI, where she utilizes her blended experiences as the Division Director of Intensive Residential Services. There she oversees two Intensive Residential Treatment Programs (IRTPs), Evolutions I & II in Westborough. Christine is once again immersed in the work that inspires her most: providing a safe haven for adolescents to heal and find hope on their path to recovery from mental illness and complex trauma. Christine is a sports enthusiast with a particular fervor for basketball at all levels. As a former collegiate player and coach, she strongly believes in the transformative power of sports for female athletes.
