QUALIFICATIONS : Master’s level clinician in a clinical or relevant field with five years of experience in mental health treatment and at least two years experience in a supervisory capacity

REPORTS TO: Division Director of Ambulatory Services

NFI Massachusetts, currently seeking a full-time licensed Program Director for its outpatient clinic located in Haverhill, MA.The outpatient clinic provides both mental health and substance abuse treatment in the Greater Merrimack Valley serving individuals, group, couples, and families.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulating agencies
  • Oversee the effective management of the Outpatient services
  • Oversight of the development of Individual Treatment Plans and all modifications
  • Support crisis management for the OP team
  • Ensure documentation is complete and in compliance with billing and licensing requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives at the direction of the Division Director
  • Assist in the development of and compliance with administrative policies and procedures
  • Develop and monitor clinical records for adherence to standards as required by funding contracts
  • Represent NFI-MA to collateral agencies, community partners and consumers.
  • Ensure quality hiring, training and performance development of all OP staff
  • Responsible for maintaining contact with funding sources regarding contract and compliance changes: MBHP and other Medicaid MCOs, DPH, DSS, MA Parole Board, Bureau of Prisons, DSS, US Court
  • Provide effective management of OP budget
  • Provide effective management of client scheduling and caseload management of OP Clinicians
  • Establish productivity guidelines for clinicians and manage corresponding compliance
  • Maintain time sheets and expenses for all OP staff and insure timely submission
  • Approve all staff schedules including Paid Time Off of OP staff
  • Support the development of new programming and assist with marketing OP services in the community
  • Ensure staff skill development in compliance with appropriate licensing standards and best clinical practice
  • Ensure ongoing training and supervision requirements are met for all OP staff
  • Conduct staff meetings / group supervision for part time employees
  • Conduct periodic employee reviews per NFI-MA policy
  • Provide clinical supervision for student interns as assigned
  • Provide clinical supervision for LMHC candidates as assigned
  • Participate in weekly Division Leadership meetings
